The whole trip was awesome from start to finish!! Jeff worked us in on short notice, and gave my three sons and I the greatest fishing experience we’ve had. The thing I liked the most, besides the large amount of fish we caught, was that Jeff was always teaching my boys. He was very patient and kind. I think he’s a better guy than a fishing guide, and that’s saying something because he’s a really good guide as well!!

We had a great morning on the water with Capt. Jeff. From the time I inquired about booking right up to the morning of the charter, I received excellent communication from Capt. Jeff. But more importantly, we got out on the water and he put us right on the fish! We caught catfish, spotted bass and hybrid bass. Several of the catch were over 20”. We easily caught about 25 fish in the 4 hours. We can’t wait to come back and we will definitely be booking with Capt. Jeff again! 10/10 would recommend you fish with him too!!

Our morning on Lake Norman with Captain Jeff was an epic adventure. He put us on fish quickly (really big ones!) and taught us several new techniques. Jeff was amazing! He really knew the water and where the fish were biting at different times of the day. There were four of us on the trip (2 beginners, 2 experienced) and we all caught 10+ fish (catfish, spotted bass, hybrid bass, and perch). We had multiple fish 20"+. Jeff was extremely helpful, coaching us all even when three of us were reeling in fish at the same time. It was a fantastic experience!

I have known Jeff Tomlin for more than 20 years. Each and every time we Jeff takes us out we have an awesome day. The most important is Jeff makes sure the Lord is present the whole trip. We would put Jeff up against any guide in the world and he would win so if you want the best call Jeff don't call the rest. Our church will enjoy the fish we caught on may 19th 2023. Incredible experience. We weren't fishing. We were catching. We had 15 fish by 6:45 a.m. Jeff had the right bait, and we slayed them. In all we caught over 40 fish and were back home by 12. I can't say enough nice things about Jeff, and this experience. I felt bad for all the fishermen around us and who were shadowing us. Jeff knows exactly what to do to catch. Captain Jeff knows how to fish! We caught pretty much every type of fish that lives in lake Norman including a monster catfish. He went above and beyond to catch live bait before we showed up at 6:30am. He also provides plenty of extra rods in case you get snagged so you don’t have to wait to fish while he ties new hooks.
